Workshop Description

The focus of this seminar-workshop is to demonstrate respect for the individual approaches people choose when faced with similar problems.  This workshop will address conscious selection of positive intrapersonal statements over the easier to access negative statements.

During the training seminar attendees are given the opportunity, through role play exercises, to explore habitual negativity that can be harmful to workplace success.

This workshop will develop an awareness of the image each person can potentially project to customers on behalf of the company. 

Special emphasis is placed upon the impact that your comments have in cultivating a workplace that is focused upon the successful co-existence of diverse people in the modern business arena.

Workshop Objectives

  • Recognize the cultural power of office politics.

  • Beware the dangers of pecking order behaviors.

  • Assess your position on the team.

  • Uncover your hidden personality profile.

  • Classify the foundations of giving and receiving respect within the business environment.

  • Accept that you cannot Demand respect you must Command respect.

  • Identify common areas of conflict and team disharmony.

  • Utilize mediation techniques to achieve resolution.

  • Alleviate burnout and danger zone behaviors. 

  Change your perception of the value of your coworkers

This Workshop can be tailored to suit your company's needs. 

It can presented in a singular three hour Seminar session.

Or, it can be conducted in concurrent 3 hour workshop sessions for up to a total of 15 hours of staff development training. 

The more in-depth format is designed for larger teams or those who are experiencing interpersonal relationship issues.

This workshop is conducted using a multi-media, PowerPoint presentation.  Attendees receive a complete handout as well as a laminated summary card for handy future reference and retention of the training techniques.
